Catering

Small scale catering featuring locally sourced, seasonal ingredients prepared simply with a lot of love!

We hire teens from our job training program to cater with us.

Teen Job Training Program

Our program works specifically with underserved youth between the ages of 13 and 19. Underserved in our case means that they are queer, transgender, BIPOC, neuro-divergent or from a low income household.

Teens are welcome to take any of our public cooking classes free of charge! Once they have taken three classes, they are welcome to apply to join our teen job training program.

Once a part of the program teens are invited to help us cater events and are paid $20/hour for their time. Our goal with this program is to create a safe and welcoming space for underserved teens to feel safe and acquire life and job skills.

Food Folklore

Documenting, sharing and honoring culinary food traditions

Check out our blog, The Flavor Archive – a place where recipes and the people and stories behind them are shared and celebrated.

This is a new program, one we hope to expand in the future, stay tuned for culinary film nights!

The Release (it) Party

This is a biannual event for women, femme and gender expansive individuals who have experienced sexual assault.

The goal of this event is to access the nurturing power of the dinner table to facilitate communal healing.

We are working with therapists, healers, artists and chefs to create this event and are currently raising money so that participants can attend free of charge!
